President's Message

Dear Resident, Business and Community Member,

The Rockwall Police Officers’ Association is striving to improve the working conditions of its members by continuously improving services to the community. The RPOA works to promote a positive image of the organization to the public we serve, and to promote the collective interests of the organization in conjunction with the mutual interests of the Rockwall Police Department. Our goal is to foster positive relationships with the public by and through all means within its scope of daily operations. It is also our goal to represent the concerns and needs expressed by our members as well as our command staff. We will continuously improve our level of service to the community by maintaining a transparent agenda with the community, command staff and city government.

In this fast-paced, technologically advanced age, we are striving to create an atmosphere of transparency and communication, which will help to render a more robust relationship by and between our entire community. One way we feel helps us to reach this goal, is by creating this new, interactive website. By engaging in community outreach programs, and supporting all those who align with our philosophies, we feel we can make a positive difference in the lives of people who need this most.

The RPOA consists of approximately sixty (60) sworn officers and dispatchers, whom have taken an oath to maintain law and order for our citizens, and represent the finest element of our community. You can be assured that each and every day, we are working diligently to build a safe and prosperous environment for everyone; especially our children. We are proud of the various community, regional, state and national charities who benefit from our support and involvement. The Rockwall County Child Advocacy Center, Special Olympics and Helping Hands to name just a few all fall within our vision of a better world with which to live. Feel free to click here to help us support our benevolent mission, and align yourself with us in this charitable effort. Click here for more information about our charitable work.

Please take the time to review this site, and make any comments which you feel may help to improve its content. Again, we thank you for your interest and support of the RPOA, and hope you and your families stay safe for the coming years.  Click here to help us keep the Rockwall community safe and prosperous for years to come.

Best Regards,
Jose Urive
